In the Kingdom of the Bully things had become increasingly odious. However such things are hard to put ones finger on and for quite some time the Guru and the Wizard did not even speak to each other of this. Eventually one or the other (it matters not which) raised the subject of increased scrutiny and interference by the Bully whereas he had previously been largely absent either in his country retreat or the ale house. Still it was difficult to figure, was the Bully really intent on the destruction of Wizard and in particular the Guru or were the two merely feeling the stress of increased proximity to the Bully now that he was spending a little less time at his country retreat. The Wizard and the Guru could not quite get a handle on this because the Bully was a complete dickhead and unpleasant to be around but this did not mean that he had evil intent.

However all this was to change and one day the Bully played his hand in dramatic manner. He called the Wizard to his domain just off the Pom Pom Corridor where the Bully regally sat with the Hag in attendance. The Bully felt confident in this room surrounded by his objects and hunting clubs (quite a joke really as everyone knew that the Bully had never hunted in his life)

When the Bully spoke it was with evil venom and the Wizard recognised at once that the gloves were well and truly off and the cards were on the table. The Bully made various references to the Guru and the Hag nodded in agreement as the Bully declared "Wizard, Thine countenance is all the merrier when the Guru is otherwise occupied". Getting into his stride he added, “You will do far far better as a Wizard in my Kingdom when you finally denounce the Guru and cease all association with him”
