An Empire is Forged

Page history last edited by Admin Serf #3 3 yrs ago

Sadim and Goldbird were both citizens of the Kingdom of Unity, part of the Empire of Blaagh. The Kingdom was made up of a collection of allied Feifdoms, who fought many small battles but were mainly at peace under the largely benevolent rule of the King of Unity and his Senior Magi.

The Bully (although he was, through sorcery, masking his true identity at this time), persuaded the Techie that they had a future, working together, to build something good and of value to the world. The Unit of Sky and Earth (as it was known) started small as no more than an informal collaboration between two neighbouring Feifdoms. Quite soon though, The Bully was able to borrow a serf from his own feifdom and this serf was skilled in the black art of 'admin'.

Unfortunately the serf was soon due to leave the Kingdom and could not be persuaded, even with sorcery, to stay and administer The Unit for more than a few months. The Bully applied his darkest sorcery to getting a new serf and the beginnings of a castle for The Unit. Having the Techie on-board lent some credibility to The Bully and he was able to manipulate one of the Magi, and persuade her to invest in The Unit with promises of exciting spells, fame for the peoples of the feifdoms, and a seat at the table of the Emperor of Blaagh, Tee Blaagh the Magnificent.

The Unit of Sky and Earth became a favourite of the Magi. After a little time had passed and the King and his Magi had been courted by the Emperor and his lackies, much gold was thrown at The Bully and the Techie to create a larger Unit and to build a community of superhighway gurus and wizards.
