In which a humble Folk Singer arrives from the far North to take up serfdom within the now famous "Unit". This Folk Singer has been sent by the agents of Tee Blaagh to sing ballads of working people to Sadim and Goldbird. The Folk Singer contributes to the Folk tales of the Unit of Sky and Earth and becomes much loved by the Magi. After escaping near death in the darkest depths of Empty Yell World he remains loyal to the "Plan". However being a simple soul he is working to a different plan to Sadim. A path that will bring him to near destruction and lead him to emerge as the Guru and a contributor to the downfall of the evil Sadim.
